The figures

Where the numbers come from

Two published sources, read on 8 October 2026, and a few rules for adding them up. Nothing here is dietary advice.

Kilojoules and prices

Shellharbour prices from the store’s online-ordering menu, read 8 October 2026. The store confirms the price when you order.

Energy as shown on the store’s ordering page. The average adult daily energy intake is 8,700 kJ. Kilojoules are not updated when menu items are customised.

Protein, fat and carbohydrate

Protein, fat and carbohydrate from the nutrition panels on Sushi Hub’s website (read 8 October 2026), for the white-rice version unless the item is a brown-rice roll.

Salads show a separate dressing panel on the website: 30 ml a pack, 554 kJ. It is counted unless you leave it out.

Where the two sources disagree

For three items the website shows a different energy figure; the app uses the ordering page’s figure and shows both.

How a meal is added up

  1. LinesEach item’s figures times its quantity; a salad box adds the dressing (554 kJ) unless you leave it out.
  2. TotalsItems without a kJ figure or a panel are left out of those totals, and the meal says how many.
  3. Per personThe totals divided by the people the meal is for: kilojoules to the whole number, grams to one decimal.
  4. The ringKilojoules per person as a percentage of your own target, or of the 8,700 kJ average adult daily intake.

These are the brand’s published figures, not dietary advice. Ask a doctor or dietitian about your own needs. Sushi Balance shows energy and nutrients only. For allergens, see Sushi Hub’s allergen list, tell the staff about any allergy, or email admin@sushihub.com.au.
